Ward Night - every Monday (3:00pm - 7:00pm) except Holidays
8th Annual "Bike the Boulevard" - Saturday, June 04, 2011
Home Depot Parking Lot - 4555 S. Western Boulevard, 9:00 - 2:00 pm
Participants can come and enjoy a bike through a portion of the City's Boulevard
system and enjoy the site of the 12th Ward as well as participate in all kinds
of fun events, refreshments and food to be provided.

City Sticker Sales in the 12th Ward - Saturday, June 25, 2011

Alderman Cardenas and City Clerk Miguel Del Valle have teamed up to make
it easier for all residents to purchase their city sticker from the convenience
of their own community.
12th Ward Immunization / Back to School Event - August 20, 2011
12th Ward Public Service Office - 2458 W. 38th Street 10:00am - 2:00pm
In order to prepare for the upcoming school year, Alderman Cardenas in
partnership with St. Anthony's Hospital will provide immunizations, dental exams
and eye exams for all school children. School supplies will also be distributed to
all children.
9th Annual Senior and Community Health Fair - Monday, October 17, 2011
Calmeca Academy of Fine Arts & Dual Language - 3456 W. 38th Street- 11:00am - 3:00pm
This event will provide participants with over 600 flu vaccines as well as free hair cuts, dental and vision exams, T- Shirts, lunch, raffle, senior I.D.'s and CEDA energy to all
qualifying individuals.
Halloween "Trick or Treat" in the Ward - Monday October 31, 2011
The 12th Ward Public Service Office will deliver treats to the different schools in
the ward and inform them on safety precautions when trick or treating.
12th Ward Little Village Health Clinic - Friday, November 4, 2010
Boys & Girls Club- 2950 W. 25th Street 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
12th Ward residents will be provided with over 500 flu shots, dental vision exams, hair cut, T-Shirt and lunch as well as State of Illinois I.D. and CEDA assistance to all qualifying individuals.
12th Ward/Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council Health Clinic - Friday,
November 18, 2010
Chicago Indoor Soccer - 3900 S. Ashland Ave. 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Residents of the Back of the Yards will be provided with over 500 free flu shots, as well as
free hair cuts, lunch T-Shirts, dental & vision examination, kidney exams performed by the
Illionis Kidney Foundation, state of Illinois I.D. and CEDA assistance to all qualifying individuals.
Thanksgiving (Turkey Give Away) - Monday November 21, 2011
12th Ward Public Service Office - 2458 W. 38th Street
Approximately 500 turkeys will be given out to families in the 12th Ward
communities of Back of the Yards, Brighton Park, Little Village and McKinley Park.
